Speakers
Adapting technology for special needs
AbilityNet is a national charity helping disabled adults and children use computers and the Internet by adapting and adjusting their technology.
Exercise and health
Perfectly timed for the after lunch spot, Margaret McAllister will be discussing and demonstrating the benefits of exercise for our children.
Benefits
Helen Wild is one of the Welfare benefit advisers for the Down's Syndrome Association so is well placed to discuss all aspects of the benefits system. If you have specific questions or topics you'd like covered, please let us know.
Crèche
A crèche will be available for those unable to make alternative arrangements for their children. There will be no charge for the crèche.
However, if you are intending to bring your children along, you must let us know in advance as places are limited and we need to ensure the appropriate ratio of carers to children is provided. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Activities planned for the crèche include May pole dancing and arts & crafts and Margaret McAllistair has very kindly offered to give the children their own exercise session.
